Arrival to the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). After customs and enter Costa Rica, a representative of GWA will be waiting for you outside the airport. You will have a private transfer to your hotel located in San Jose.

Early transfer to the Pacuare River, located in the Caribbean slopes. You will raft through the incredible rainforest on 19 miles of Class III-IV whitewater. Cascading waterfalls, lush forests, exotic plants, birds and other animals, and exciting rapids make this a tropical adventure packed with rich experiences that you will remember forever. A delicious lunch will be waiting for you at the end.
Then, you will take transportation to your next destination, the Arenal Volcano.

After breakfast, you will rappel down huge waterfalls, jump into pools, zip down guided rappels, downclimb the canyon walls and river boulders, and hike up through the rainforest. This is the Lost Canyon Adventure. Lunch will be served at the end.
In the afternoon, you will walk along the old lava beds and learn about the volcano, the tropical forest surrounding it and the abundant wildlife from an informative guide. Following the tour of the volcano, you will visit a beautiful hot springs resort, where you can recover all your energy and strength for the rest of your trip.
