Arrival to the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). After customs and enter Costa Rica, a representative of GWA will be waiting for you outside the airport. You will have a private transfer to your hotel located in San Jose.

Today marks the beginning of your adventure as you pick up your rental car and head from San Jose to the Arenal Volcano area. Along the route, you'll be able to admire the lush tropical vegetation and, eventually, reach the imposing presence of the volcano. This journey offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the peace and tranquility that the region provides. Upon arrival, we suggest resting and relaxing in the hot springs of the area.

Today, drive to Monteverde, a natural gem located in the northwest mountainous region of Costa Rica.
Monteverde is a natural treasure that offers a unique experience for those who want to immerse themselves in Costa Rica's wonderful biodiversity and appreciate the beauty of a cloud forest. The dense fog that covers the forest provides moisture and life to the area, resulting in an astonishing variety of flora and fauna. In the evening, we suggest to enjoy an exciting night walk.

Day at leisure to enjoy the surroundings of the area. We suggest taking a guided hike through the Curi-Cancha Reserve today. This reserve covers over 83 hectares of cloud forest and is characterized by its diverse ecosystems. Here, you'll find a mix of primary and secondary forests, trails, streams, and waterfalls that create an ideal habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.
